Lee Byung-hun Reveals Only Three of His Films Are Suitable for His Son
Lee Byung-hun, despite his 30-year acting career, has only shown three of his films to his son due to the mature content of most of his work.

On July 4th, a press conference for the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) 'The Master: Lee Byung-hun' special exhibition was held at the Hyundai Department Store Culture Hall in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.

Lee Byung-hun was chosen as the featured actor for the special exhibition at the 29th BIFAN. Known for his roles in films with mature ratings, Lee humorously remarked, "There are hardly any movies I can show my son. I've only shown him about three films so far. Most of them are rated 18+ due to violence and provocative content."

Lee recently shared a story about his son. He said, "There are moments when my son seems to confuse me with TV drama characters." He continued, "I dubbed a Netflix animation called 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' and thought it might be suitable for him to watch. But when I showed it to him, he asked, 'But who are you, Dad?' When I said I was the demon, he looked disappointed and said, 'I don't want to watch anymore.' Even after explaining that it's just acting and a character, he asked, 'Why do you keep playing demons and the Front Man (the villain in 'Squid Game')?' It seems to be a bit of a disappointment for him. I think he wishes his dad would play good guy roles," Lee said with a smile.
