Actress Lee Ha-nui mentioned her ‘brother-in-law’ Rain.

Lee Ha-nui told various stories about the movie ‘Killing Romance’ (directed by Lee Won-seok) at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 14th.

'Killing Romance' is about top star Yeorae (played by Lee Ha-nui), who suddenly announces her retirement after falling in love with island tycoon Jonathan (played by Lee Seon-gyun), and meets Beom-woo (played by Gong Myeong), a student from the 3rd fan club, and plots an extraordinary comeback plan. It's a story.

In the play, Lee Ha-nui plays the role of Tathagata. Tathagata is a retired top star who dreams of a brilliant screen comeback. She meets Jonathan Na by chance, falls in love with him, and suddenly retires as soon as he gets married.

On this day, Lee Ha-nui said, "'Tathagataism' and 'Happiness', which are parodies of 'Rainism', were director Lee Won-seok's idea. 'Happiness' was a forced song for Jonathan, and 'Tathagataism' is both a song of the past and a song of the future for the Tathagata. “I understand why Rain became a world star with that song. It was so addictive that I kept listening to it. I did that the whole time we were filming.”

Lee Ha-nui also planned and produced the music video for ‘Tathagataism’. Seon-gyun Lee said, "Hani planned it. The quality was higher than I expected. So I wonder if I should make 'Happiness'." Lee Ha-nui explained, "Isn't the 'killing romance' sensibility unusual for a music video? I wanted to reach the audience who will watch the movie with that sensibility. So, I was wondering what to do, but I realized that the characters of Tathagata and Jonathan were too much of a waste."

He continued, "Throughout the filming, he said, 'It's a waste to send this as a movie,' and told me to act as a secondary character. He said I should act as a secondary character as Jonathan, and suggested forming a four-member group. In fact, Sunkyun oppa participated in 'National Singing Contest' as a secondary character with a promise of 2 million or 3 million. He expressed his satisfaction by saying, "We said let's go on the National Singing Contest. That's how much we have special love for the character. With that kind of sensibility, since we have music, we thought it would be cool to have a music video, so we had fun filming it."

Lee Ha-nui mentioned Rain, the owner of the original song of ‘Tathagataism’. He said, "Ever since 'Tathagataism' appeared in the movie, I've been saying, 'Oppa, I'll do this' and 'Oppa, I'm going to do it.' My brother is curious. I invited him to the preview, but he couldn't come because he's currently performing in Singapore. How come? “I’m wondering if it will come out. Just letting me record and write a song is a big deal and I’m grateful. They did it willingly,” he said, expressing his affection.

He also said, "He always takes care of people, is loyal, and really seems like the best person in the universe. I learn a lot from him. We worked together in the drama 'Please Come Back, Mister' and I like him as a person before he was my brother-in-law. I also respect him as an actor. I can't do that on set.
