Director Lee Byung-hun's new film 'Dream' starring actors Park Seo-joon and IU maintained the top spot at the box office for two consecutive days.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie tickets on the 28th, 'Dream' mobilized 55,625 people on the 27th. The cumulative audience number was 156,901. As a result, it took first place at the box office for two consecutive days.

Second place went to ‘Super Mario Bros.’ ‘Super Mario Bros.’ attracted 41,646 people. The cumulative number of viewers is 154,502. Next, 'John Wick 4' was chosen by 28,680 people, 'Suzume's Lockdown' was chosen by 13,536 people, and 'Ghost at Oksu Station' was chosen by 6,728 people.

As of 7:45 a.m., ‘Super Mario Bros.’ ranked first in real-time reservation rate. 207,620 people have reserved tickets for 'Super Mario Bros.', recording a reservation rate of 39.3%. ‘Dream’, with 99,123 reservations, followed.

'Dream' is the story of Hong Dae (played by Park Seo-joon), a clueless former soccer player, and So-min (played by IU), a passionless producer, who challenge an impossible dream with a ragtag group of homeless national team players. In particular, on the first day of release, it topped the box office for the first time among Korean films since 'Confidential'.
