The overseas poster for the movie 'Hwaran' (directed by Kim Chang-hoon), which was invited to the 76th Cannes International Film Festival Un Certain Regard, was released.

On the 8th, distributor PlusM Entertainment released the overseas poster for ‘Hwaran’. 'Hwaran' is a story that unfolds when Yeon-gyu (played by Hong Sa-bin), a boy who wants to escape from the hellish reality, meets Chi-geon (played by Song Joong-ki), the middle boss of an organization, and joins him in a dangerous world.

In the released poster, you can get a glimpse of two men, Yeon-gyu, an 18-year-old boy with no one to rely on in a dark reality, and Cheegan, who lives in the world in his own way.

Hong Sa-bin, who is making her first screen leading role through the role of Yeon-gyu, is a newcomer who has been recognized for her solid acting skills and potential through the well-received short films 'Vacation' and 'Heat Wave'. Expectations are high that he will delicately portray the complex inner life of a precarious character through 'Hwaran'.

Song Joong-ki, who played the role of Chi-geon, the middle boss of the organization who feels sympathy for and guides Yeon-gyu, who is similar to himself, heralded a new character transformation that has never been seen before, with an expressionless expression and eyes that are difficult to guess.

The overseas poster for 'Hwaran', which depicts two men in a hellish world, leaves a deep impression with the presence of Hong Sa-bin and Song Joong-ki, and stimulates expectations and curiosity about their relationship and story that will unfold in the movie.

‘Hwaran’ is scheduled to be released in Korea this year.
