Choi Min-sik, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival ‘Actor Special Exhibition’

On the 11th, the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) announced this news. BIFAN explained, “Actor Choi Min-sik is the representative face of Korean cinema and Korean cinema itself,” adding, “He has led the heyday of Korean cinema by showing acting skills that go beyond his own limitations and unique characters in each film he has appeared in.”
BIFAN programmer Mo Eun-young said, "At this year's special exhibition, we plan to hold a master class, a special book publication, and a mega talk (GV) along with a screening of representative works selected by actor Min-sik Choi. We also want to meet a new side of him that we have not seen before."
Choi Min-sik, who debuted in the 1989 film 'Guro Arirang', has an impressive award history. Grand Bell Awards 3 times (36, 41, 51), Baeksang Arts Awards 3 times (35, 40, 51), Blue Dragon Film Awards 3 times (22, 24, 33), Korean Association of Film Critics Awards 3 times (21, 24) ·He received over 30 acting awards, including the 34th. He has established himself as an actor representing Korea in name and reality.
