Song Joong-ki, a proof shot of entering Cannes for the first time in his life

Actor Song Joong-ki was invited to Cannes for the first time in his life, attended a film festival, and released a proof shot.

On the 22nd, Song Joong-ki revealed a photo taken in Cannes without any comments. One is a picture of herself pointing at her face and smiling brightly in front of a poster for her first film to debut in Cannes, 'Hwaran' (director Kim Chang-hoon), and the other picture shows her natural look at her cell phone on the street at the Cannes Film Festival.

In particular, Song Joong-ki draws attention as he exudes boyish beauty in a casual look wearing a baseball cap over a white T-shirt.

'Hwaran' (director Kim Chang-hoon), which became Song Joong-ki's first film to enter Cannes, was named in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes International Film Festival. This section introduces unique works depicting various regions and cultures.

'Hwaran' is a low-budget noir film, in which Song Joong-ki appeared with no carity. The story unfolds as Yeon-kyu (played by Sa-bin Hong), a boy who wants to escape from a hellish reality, meets Chi-geon (played by Song Joong-ki), the boss of the organization, and joins them in the precarious world.

In January, Song Joong-ki announced that he was remarried and pregnant with Katie Louise Saunders, a British actress who is 1 year older. Katie is said to be accompanying Song Joong-ki on his schedule. Song Joong-ki, a prospective father, entered Cannes for the first time and is also taking a career high as an actor, drawing attention.

Meanwhile, a total of seven Korean films were invited to the Cannes Film Festival this year. 'Fire' (Director Kim Chang-hoon) in 'Notable Gaze', 'Spider's Nest' (Director Kim Ji-woon) in Non-Competition, 'Escape: PROJECT SILENCE' (Director Kim Tae-gon) in Midnight Screening, 'Sleep' (Director Yoo Jae-sun) in Critics' Week ), and 'Our Day' (director Sangsoo Hong) was listed as the closing film for the director's week. 'Brothers of the Lee Family' (Korea National University of Arts School of Film, Film Department Seo Jeong-mi) and 'Hall' (Korean Film Academy Hwang Hye-in) were selected in the La Cinef (Cine Foundation) category.

It opened on the 16th and will be held until the 27th. The opening film is 'Jean du Barry' (directed by Maiwen), and the closing film is 'Elemental' (directed by Peter Sohn).
