'Sin City 3' added 210,000 in one day, more than 5 times more than 'Transformers 6'

According to the Korea Film Promotion Commission's integrated computer network for movie theater tickets, 'Crime City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong) attracted 214,515 people on 2097 screens on the 7th, recording a cumulative audience of 6,267,665.
'Criminal City 3' surpassed 6 million viewers in 7 days after its release on the 31st of last month, turning on the green light for 10 million films. This is the same speed as the highest-grossing Korean films ever released, 'Myeongryang' (2014) and 'Train to Busan' (2016), which mobilized 6 million viewers, according to 'Crime City 3'. This work is the first movie to be seen by 6 million viewers this year, and it is expected that it will continue to break records in the future.
'Crime City 3' is an irreplaceable monster detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) moves to the Seoul Metropolitan Investigation Unit to catch Joo Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyuk), who is behind a new drug crime case, and Ricky (Aoki Munetaka), another villain involved in a drug case. 'Transformers: The Beginning of the Beast' (director Stephen Kaple Jr., hereinafter referred to as 'Transformers 6') mobilized 38,426 viewers through 1,107 screens and ranked second at the box office. 'Transformers 6' is a movie depicting the battle between the Autobots and the Maximal in the face of the emergence of a powerful villain.
3rd place was 'Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3' (5674 people), 4th place was 'Fast and Furious: Ride or Die' (3309 people), and 5th place was 'The Little Mermaid' (2707 people).
