'Sin City 3' mobilizes 650,000 weekends... In front of 9 million breakthrough

'Sin City 3' is on the verge of breaking 9 million views.

According to the integrated computer network for movie theater tickets of the Film Promotion Committee, 'Crime City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong) attracted 649,669 people last weekend (16th to 18th), recording a cumulative audience of 8,911,542.

Since its release on the 31st of last month, 'Criminal City 3' has maintained its No. 1 spot without missing a beat. However, from the third week of release, the box office speed declined steeply. Considering that the daily average number of viewers on weekdays in the third week was around 100,000, some observers say that it will be difficult to break the 10 million mark this week as well.

'Crime City 3' is an irreplaceable monster detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) moves to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to catch Joo Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyeok), who is behind a new drug crime case, and Ricky (Aoki Munetaka), another villain involved in a drug case. It is a film depicting an exhilarating crime-fighting operation for the sake of others.

During the same period, Disney Pixar animation 'Elemental' attracted 422,074 people and DC movie 'The Flash' attracted 293,616 people.
