Official poster of the 28th Busan International Film Festival released

The motif of the official poster is an image derived from the harmonious interaction of colorful colors and forms of light passing through a rotating prism. While reminiscent of the light cast on the screen through the lens of a projector, the beautifully harmonized light on a black background reminds us of various movies with deep and brilliant narratives. At the same time, it symbolizes the Busan International Film Festival, Asia's largest film festival filled with dazzling light energy, adding special meaning.
Based on 'To My Star' (2022) by Shin Bong-cheol, who continues to explore light and glass as a medium, it was planned and designed by art director Choi Soon-dae, who is in charge of the Busan Contemporary Visual Design Association. He has been working as an art director since the 2nd Busan International Film Festival.
The Busan International Film Festival, which attracted attention last year by successfully hosting a face-to-face event, is doing its best to become a film festival that breathes with the audience again this year with colorful films. Through the online holding press conference of the 28th Busan International Film Festival, detailed plans for the event outline and characteristics, opening/closing films, selected works by section, and major events will be revealed.
The 28th Busan International Film Festival will be held at the Busan Cinema Center from October 4th to October 13th.
