Will Jung Woo-sung surpass Lee Jung-jae in 'Best Friend'? 'Guardian' opens on August 15th
Actor Jung Woo-sung's directorial debut, "Guardian," will be released on August 15, the distributor Ace Maker Movie Works announced on the 6th.

'Guardian' is an action movie depicting the story between Soo-hyeok, who is released from prison after 10 years and wants to live a normal life after learning of the existence of a daughter he did not know about, and those who are targeting him.

Actor Jung Woo-sung's first feature film directing 'Guardian' drew attention early on when it was invited to leading overseas film festivals such as the 47th Toronto International Film Festival, the 55th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival, and the 42nd Hawaii International Film Festival.

Jung Woo-sung directed and played the main character Soo-hyeok.

Kim Nam-gil, Park Seong-woong, Kim Jun-han, and Park Yuna appear in this work. Kim Nam-gil plays Woo-jin, a troubleshooter with a 100% success rate, Park Seong-woong plays Eung-guk, the boss of the organization Soo-hyeok worked for, and Kim Joon-han plays Sung-joon, the second person in the organization who feels inferior. Park Yuna played Jin-ah, Woojin's partner and a bomb killer.
