Regarding the set and production of 'Barbie', which was implemented with the best production crew, director Greta Gerwig confessed, "Like the world of 'Barbie' in our childhood imagination, the most important thing is that Barbie Land feels like a happy place." In order to add richness to the work, he said that he thought about how the images conveyed by the color pink could be melted into the work. He said, "When I was young, I liked bright fluorescent pink, but 'Barbie Land' had to contain the entire spectrum of pink. It was very important to make all the pink tones work together, such as fluorescent pink and dull pastel pink.”

It is said that a huge amount of stage-only paint was used for the actual 'Barbie' set, which stimulates curiosity. Pink paint was mobilized for all props and structures such as clothes, slides, kitchens, and dressing rooms in Barbie Land, and as a result, all fluorescent pink paint colors from the paint company 'Roscoe' that were airlifted to implement the set were sold out. Attention is focusing on what the world of the movie 'Barbie' will be like, with the visuals of Barbie Land beyond imagination and the delicate direction of director Greta Gerwig.

'Barbie' will be released in Korea on July 19th.
