The movie 'The Moon' meets the audience through an 'overwhelming cinematic experience' provided by native 4K rendering.

'The Moon' (director Kim Yong-hwa) is a movie depicting the desperate struggle between Seon-woo (Do Kyung-soo), a space crew member stranded on the moon due to an accident, and Jae-guk (Sol Kyung-gu), the former head of the space center desperately trying to save him. 'The Moon', another challenge by director Kim Yong-hwa following the series 'Along with the Gods'. The film revealed that it was not an easy process for director Kim Yong-hwa as it contains Korea's first manned lunar exploration and the return of an isolated astronaut on the moon 384,000 km away.

Director Kim Yong-hwa said, “I wanted to vividly create an ‘experiential movie’ that can only be experienced in theaters.” According to NASA, a set of spacecraft was made using the same materials and materials by studying the parts used in NASA, and a lunar vehicle with quality enough to actually go to the moon and operate. He added that he perfected props, sets, and VFX, such as displaying videos made of data.

Everything born in this way is brought to the screen through native 4K rendering. The appearance of the universe and the moon gives the audience the experience of walking and running on the moon together. 'The Moon', which took care of all the elements that the audience's audiovisual touches, added not only technical skills but also the passionate performances of actors led by Seol Gyeong-gu, Do Kyung-soo, and Kim Hee-ae.

'The Moon' will be released on August 2nd.
