'Titanic' James Cameron to make submersible titan movie? Posted on social media "It's actually groundless"
James Cameron, director of the movie 'Titanic' (1998), has refuted rumors that he will make a movie about the submarine Titan, which has recently occurred.

On July 15 (local time), James Cameron posted a line on his social media official account starting with the sentence "I don't usually respond to unpleasant rumors in the media, but now I feel the need to do so." In addition, he emphasized, "I am not in any discussion about the Oceangate (Titan) movie or drama, and there will be no future."

British media The Sun previously reported that James Cameron is discussing with the OTT platform for a film related to the Titanic accident.

Last month, news broke that all five passengers on board the Titanic submersible had died while going sightseeing to see the Titanic's wreckage. It is estimated that the submersible Titan, which could not withstand the external pressure, was sunk.

Later, in an interview with ABC, James Cameron expressed his regret about the tragedy that the accident caused, saying, "I was shocked by the similarity between this accident and the sinking of the Titanic."

'Titanic', which was a film about the Titanic that occurred in 1912, won 11 awards at the 70th Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director.
