Korean Actress Son Tae-young Shares Son's Driving Practice in New Jersey

Korean actress Son Tae-young recently shared a glimpse of her 17-year-old son Luke's driving practice.

On October 2, Son Tae-young's YouTube channel, 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young,' featured a video titled 'Driving in New Jersey with Mom Son Tae-young and Son.'

In the video, Son Tae-young is seen heading out early in the morning to accommodate her son's soccer schedule. She mentioned, "We left at 6:30 to avoid traffic. Other kids drive themselves, and I think Luke can do it too with some practice."

A few days later, Luke is seen taking the wheel himself, driving to school. As he nervously grips the steering wheel, Son Tae-young jokes, "Will we reach school today?" while encouraging him, "You're doing well. It's easier because there are fewer cars in the morning."

Luke responds calmly, "The way there is easier than the way back." Son Tae-young offers practical driving advice, "Here, if you drive at your own pace, no one will honk at you. People in a hurry will just pass by."

After dropping off her son, Son Tae-young takes the driver's seat, laughing, "I have to drive home, but the steering wheel is soaked with sweat." She adds, "He's definitely Kwon Sang-woo's son. They both sweat a lot when nervous."

Previously, Son Tae-young revealed she purchased a used car worth approximately 45 million KRW for her son. She expressed satisfaction, saying, "Finally, this car is ours," highlighting her practical choice for Luke's first driving practice.

Son Tae-young also shared about her daughter Riho's growth. She said, "My daughter wants to wear hot pants to school. Her preferences are so clear that I try not to interfere to avoid arguments."

Son Tae-young married actor Kwon Sang-woo in 2008, and they have a son and a daughter. The family currently resides in New Jersey, USA.
