Korean Actress Ko Hyun-jung Joins 'Face to Face' Exhibition: A Star-Studded Charity Event Bridging Art and Society
This exhibition is a massive collaborative event featuring prominent actors from both Korea and Japan. Notably, the project is designed as a social contribution exhibition, with proceeds being donated to the treatment of pediatric patients.
The lineup of participating actors is unprecedented in scale. Representing Korea are actors such as Ko Hyun-jung, Kim Da-mi, Kim Min-kyu, Kim So-hyun, Kim Young-dae, Kim Hye-jun, Park Sung-hoon, Park Ji-hoo, Park Shin-hye, Park Hae-soo, Park Hyung-sik, Byun Woo-seok, Seo In-guk, So Ji-sub, Song Hye-kyo, Ahn Bo-hyun, Ahn So-hee, Ahn Eun-jin, Yang Se-jong, Ok Taec-yeon, Woo Do-hwan, Lee Dong-wook, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Yoo-mi, Lee Jae-wook, Lee Jun-ho, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Hee-jun, Jang Ki-yong, Jeon Yeo-bin, Jung So-min, Jung Chae-yeon, Jo Woo-jin, Jo Jung-suk, Joo Ji-hoon, Cha Joo-young, Chae Won-bin, Chae Jong-hyeop, Chun Woo-hee, Choo Young-woo, Choi Hyun-wook, Han Ji-min, Han Hyo-joo, Hong Kyung, and Hwang Jung-min.
The exhibition concept is 'Actor × Flower', an immersive art project that combines the narrative and emotions of actors with the universal symbol of flowers. It merges Kim Young-joon's portrait photography with Yoshida Yuni's analog object direction, allowing visitors to experience the exhibition space as a single scene.
Additionally, the exhibition includes AI-based motion graphics, interactive photo zones, and participatory art walls, offering visitors a new experience beyond mere observation. This project is significant as it realizes the sharing of art, with proceeds from the exhibition being donated to children's medical treatments. The structure naturally leads visitors' participation to become a form of donation.
The 'Face to Face' project, where the faces and emotions of leading actors from Korea and Japan are transformed into art and then given back to society, embodies the symbolic meaning of connecting people, art, and society.
Tickets for the exhibition are available from the 22nd on Yanolja, and it will be held from May 7 to June 7 at the DDP Iganseumun Exhibition Hall in Seoul.
