Comedian Lee Guk-joo Stuns Fans with Doctor Transformation on Instagram

Comedian Lee Guk-joo has surprised her fans with a dramatic transformation.

On the 22nd, Lee Guk-joo shared a photo and a video on her Instagram with the caption, "Hospital Ambassador Lee Guk-joo✌🏻."

In the posts, Lee is seen wearing a real doctor's coat, striking various poses. She humorously noted, "I tried my best, but since I'm not a doctor, it felt awkward... Eventually, my comedian expressions came out 🤭," showing her shy side.

Fans reacted with comments like, "Professor, can I get a consultation?", "Just a touch from you seems like it would heal," "Why does the coat suit you so well?", "Not Professor Lee Guk-jong, but Professor Lee Guk-joo," and "Are you a diet specialist?"

Meanwhile, Lee Guk-joo began living in a 9-pyeong studio apartment in Tokyo, Japan, since April last year. She explained, "I've turned 40, and next year marks my 20th debut anniversary. I wanted to take on a new challenge. I thought vaguely, 'If I can speak Japanese, maybe I can try something.'"

When some netizens criticized her saying, "It's possible because you have money," Lee clarified, "This isn't a challenge or living like a 20-year-old. I'm in my 40s," and added, "Don't expect me to live like I'm in my 20s." She also mentioned, "Even if (living in Japan) fails, I don't think it's a life-ruining failure. It seems like it will be a good experience."
