Jang Nara Breaks Silence with New Look Amidst Former Agency Controversy
On the 22nd, Jang Nara posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption, "It's been a while🌸."
In the photo, Jang Nara is seen capturing herself with a camera in a room filled with yellow lights and mirrors. Notably, she has cut her long hair short, drawing attention.
Last month, on the 9th, a media outlet reported that an associate from Jang Nara's former agency was found dead, leaving behind a suicide note. The outlet mentioned, "The agency was reportedly experiencing conflicts related to investment issues," and added, "There are claims that a lawsuit is ongoing concerning investment issues related to singer-songwriter Kim Joo-hoon, who previously worked under the name 'Remember'." However, the media clarified that no direct connection between the incident and the current issue has been confirmed.
In response, Jang Nara's side stated through multiple media outlets the next day, "The current agency has no relation to this issue," and urged, "Please refrain from excessive speculative reporting." They further clarified, "We terminated our contract with the controversial agency in August last year," and emphasized, "Reports of investment or legal conflicts with the agency are unfounded."
Meanwhile, Jang Nara delivered a stellar performance in the SBS drama 'Good Partner', which concluded in 2024. 'Good Partner' is a human legal office drama about star divorce lawyer Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Nara) and rookie lawyer Han Yoo-ri (played by Nam Ji-hyun), who is handling her first divorce case. Jang Nara is currently reported to be filming for 'Good Partner' Season 2.
