Veteran Actor and Voice Artist Rif Hutton Passes Away at 73
According to family and close friends, Hutton had been battling glioblastoma, a type of brain tumor, for about a year.
His colleague and fellow voice actor, Steve Apostolina, paid tribute on Facebook, stating, "An amazing person has left us. Rif Hutton was a unique individual. Those in the industry knew him as a thoroughly prepared actor, always the first to arrive on set."
During the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, he was noted for his unwavering support of his colleagues at the Warner Bros. lot.
After being diagnosed with a brain tumor in March 2025, he became involved with the National Brain Tumor Society, spreading hope and encouragement. At the time, he stated, "Everyone battling glioblastoma deserves encouragement, prayers, and hope." He is survived by his wife, voice actress Bridget Hoffman, and their son, Wolfie.
