Baek Ji-young Opens Up About Daughter's Challenges in New Zealand

Singer Baek Ji-young recently shared the difficulties her daughter is facing while living in New Zealand.

A video titled 'Jung Seok-won's Lonely Day at Home After Baek Ji-young Leaves' was uploaded on Baek Ji-young's YouTube channel.

In the video, Jung Seok-won revealed his daily life after his wife Baek Ji-young and daughter Haim left for New Zealand.

When Jung Seok-won called to ask about their well-being, Baek Ji-young cautiously shared, "The first week was hectic. But by the second week, she said, 'I don't want to go to school in New Zealand.' It seems the kids were a bit territorial."

Jung Seok-won expressed relief that they are not planning a long-term stay in New Zealand, yet he showed concern for his daughter struggling with the short overseas experience. During a video call with his daughter, he affectionately noted, "Your face looks chubbier."

Left alone in Korea, Jung Seok-won shared, "I've been going to Seoul Action School lately. I was originally training for a project when Director Jung Doo-hong offered me a special instructor role for six months."

When asked by staff if his new project is a romance genre, Jung Seok-won candidly replied, "I can't do romance anymore. They don't come my way. Romance isn't for everyone." He humorously added, "People don't call me an actor; they just say I'm Baek Ji-young's husband."

Jung Seok-won spent a busy day hosting a meat party for his action school juniors. He remarked, "Even though my wife and daughter are abroad, I don't have time to feel lonely," but admitted, "Still, it was a day I missed them. This is why family should be together. I will never send my daughter to study abroad."

Meanwhile, Baek Ji-young married actor Jung Seok-won, who is nine years her junior, in June 2013, and they have a daughter named Jung Haim.
