YouTuber Park Wi and Singer-Actress Song Ji-eun Share Dining Experience Amidst YouTube Membership Controversy
YouTuber Park Wi and singer-actress Song Ji-eun have sparked debate among netizens with the announcement of their YouTube channel's paid membership, while also sharing a glimpse of their dining experience.

On the 19th, Song Ji-eun posted a photo on her Instagram story with the caption, "Ending the week with sizzling meat.."

The photo shows her husband, Park Wi, grilling meat at a restaurant. Song Ji-eun later added, "And gelato," indicating they enjoyed dessert as well, and described it as a "perfect ending" to their Sunday night.

The couple recently found themselves at the center of controversy due to their YouTube channel's paid membership. On the 16th, a video titled "Become a Family with Wiracle!" was uploaded to Park Wi's YouTube channel 'Wiracle.'

In the video, the couple announced the launch of the channel's paid membership. Park Wi explained, "To have a more intimate time with our subscribers and share deeper stories, we thought 'why not give it a try?'"

They introduced the exclusive content for members, promising to show "the honest side of the couple that couldn't be fully captured in the existing vlogs." They also mentioned that the membership fee is '2990 won' and expressed their ambition to provide higher quality videos.

However, reactions from netizens were mixed. Some supported the new venture, saying, "We support the channel's new challenge," and "Hope the channel prospers." Others criticized, questioning, "What more do we need to know for 2990 won?" and expressing disappointment, "It seems the essence of the channel, which focused on disability awareness, is lost," and "While it's understandable to run a channel for profit, this decision is regrettable."

Meanwhile, Park Wi and Song Ji-eun first met during a dawn prayer service as part of their faith journey. They became a couple in the spring of 2023 and went public with their relationship in December 2023. The couple tied the knot in October 2024.
