Actor Byun Woo-seok Becomes the New Face of SK Magic Water Purifiers
SK Intellix, led by CEO Ahn Moo-in, announced that Byun Woo-seok will be the new advertising model for their health platform brand, SK Magic, and the new advertisement will be unveiled on the 18th.
Byun Woo-seok rose to fame with the drama 'Seonjae Runs Away' and has since maintained his popularity. Currently, he stars in '21st Century Grand Prince' as Prince Ian, captivating audiences with his portrayal of royal elegance and sophistication. The drama has already surpassed a 9.5% viewership rating in just two episodes, ranking first in its time slot.
Additionally, Byun made a surprise appearance as a new member on MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo?', charming fans with his down-to-earth personality alongside Yoo Jae-suk. SK Magic aims to convey its premium image to consumers through Byun Woo-seok's collaboration.
His multifaceted appeal aligns naturally with the concept of the new 'Two Water' mineral water purifier, which provides both healthy mineral water and pure water. The slogan 'Water is Magic' emphasizes water as a key element in promoting health and a wellness lifestyle.
Meanwhile, '21st Century Grand Prince', featuring Byun Woo-seok, is set in a constitutional monarchy in 21st-century Korea. It tells the story of a wealthy commoner woman and a prince who cannot have anything, as they carve out their destinies in a class-defying romance. As Prince Ian's contract marriage journey with Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) unfolds, viewer anticipation is rising.
The overlap of Prince Ian's regal demeanor in the drama and Byun Woo-seok's stylish lifestyle in the advertisement is fueling interest in the new SK Magic ad. The advertisement will be released across TV, OTT platforms, YouTube, social media, buses, elevators, and other online and offline channels starting on the 18th.
