Korean Singer Ha Chun-hwa Offers Support to Tae Jin-ah's Wife Battling Dementia
According to sources in the music industry, Ha Chun-hwa visited Tae Jin-ah's residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, last winter to meet his wife, Ok Kyung-i (real name Lee Ok-hyung). During her visit, Ha Chun-hwa provided encouragement and financial support to help the family. It is reported that Ha Chun-hwa, who had been staying abroad for an extended period, learned about Ok Kyung-i's condition and decided to visit personally.
Last month, Tae Jin-ah shared a photo on his Instagram account featuring Ha Chun-hwa. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Ha Chun-hwa visited Ok Kyung-i, and she recognized her, smiling brightly and even making a V sign. Ha Chun-hwa gave a significant gift to Ok Kyung-i, and we are incredibly thankful." He added, "I wish Ha Chun-hwa good health and a path filled with flowers."
In the shared photo, Tae Jin-ah's wife, despite her illness, is seen recognizing Ha Chun-hwa and making a V sign with her fingers. Ha Chun-hwa is holding her hand, offering strength and support. The image also shows Tae Jin-ah, his wife, and Ha Chun-hwa sitting together.
Tae Jin-ah's wife was diagnosed with dementia in 2019. Tae Jin-ah has previously shared glimpses of caring for his wife during her battle with dementia on TV Chosun's 'Joseon's Lovebirds.'
