Former Super Junior Member Kangin Saves Comedian Lee Jin-ho After Sudden Brain Hemorrhage
Former Super Junior member Kangin is credited with saving comedian Lee Jin-ho, who recently suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage.

According to a media report on the 14th, Kangin was the first to call emergency services after Lee Jin-ho collapsed and was subsequently treated in the intensive care unit.

The report states that on the 1st of the month, Kangin called Lee Jin-ho, who was losing consciousness. Lee managed to inform Kangin of his condition, prompting Kangin to quickly alert emergency services. Lee Jin-ho was then rushed to a hospital in Seoul.

Lee Jin-ho's agency, SM C&C, announced on the 9th, "Lee Jin-ho is currently in the ICU due to a brain hemorrhage, but his life is not in danger."

Lee Jin-ho debuted in 2005 as a comedian through SBS. He gained attention with his character 'Woong's Father' and appeared on various entertainment programs, including tvN's 'Comedy Big League.' In October 2024, he admitted to illegal gambling and halted his broadcasting activities.

Since 2020, Lee Jin-ho has been under investigation for habitual illegal gambling through online sites, leading to his indictment without detention in September last year. In the same month, he was also charged with DUI (violation of the Road Traffic Act) for driving approximately 100km from Incheon to his home in Yangpyeong County. In December last year, it was revealed that he had defaulted on approximately 28.84 million won in national health insurance premiums since April 2023.
