According to an online community post, suspicions about Ji Ye-eun and Bata's relationship were raised. User A claimed to have posted several times between July and October last year, questioning their relationship.
User A stated, "It seems like Bata likes Ji Ye-eun but is afraid to confess for fear of rejection," adding, "Both attend church and have strong faith. Ji Ye-eun's ideal type is said to be a church-going guy. They've been spending a lot of time together lately, and it doesn't seem like just friendship. They're bound to start dating."
User A further speculated, "As a Christian couple attending the same church, their faith must be strong, and such cases often lead to marriage."
Additionally, User A mentioned, "After breaking up with a long-term girlfriend, it seems Bata became interested in Ji Ye-eun. They grew closer while learning choreography together over the summer, and although they claim to be friends, they are essentially in a 'some' relationship."
In reality, both Ji Ye-eun and Bata, born in 1994, met through church and developed into a couple. This post has gained attention among netizens following their relationship confirmation.
Previously, on the 13th, a media outlet reported that the two had recently transitioned from friends to lovers. The outlet also noted, "When Ji Ye-eun performed at 'Waterbomb Seoul 2025' with the project group 'Chungju Ji' alongside broadcaster Ji Seok-jin last year, Bata participated in the choreography production."
Regarding the dating rumors, Ji Ye-eun's agency, CP Entertainment, told TenAsia, "The two are dating based on mutual good feelings. We ask for your warm support."
Meanwhile, Bata leads the dance crew WDBZ (We Dem Boyz). He was the youngest among the leader-level contestants on Mnet's dance survival program 'Street Man Fighter' in 2022, where they finished as runners-up.
