Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo Reveals Untold Story Behind Legendary Nude Photo Book

Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo has opened up about the untold story behind the group's legendary nude photo book.

On the 13th, the YouTube channel 'Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk' released a video titled 'These Shinhwa-like Guys!!! From the Mop Days to the Legendary Nude Photo Book. You Can't Even Imagine How Hard These Seniors Worked.'

In the video, Shinhwa members Lee Min-woo and Andy appeared alongside Super Junior's Donghae and Eunhyuk to share behind-the-scenes stories from their past activities. The discussion particularly focused on the nude photo book, which was a sensational and bold move at the time.

The cast was in awe as they viewed the actual photo book brought by the production team. Eunhyuk exclaimed, "This should be in a museum," while Donghae was left speechless, saying, "This is truly shocking."

Recalling the shoot, Lee Min-woo said, "I still remember it vividly." He humorously explained the daring exposure, "I was wearing pants, like when you get a shot," drawing laughter from the group.

On the other hand, Andy, who did not participate in the shoot, firmly stated, "I'm glad I didn't. I have zero desire to do it," which amused everyone present.

Lee Min-woo also mentioned issues with the financial settlement. He revealed, "I'm not sure of the exact details, but there were problems on the production side, and we didn't get paid. I heard they printed a few tens of thousands of copies and then stopped. It's now a rare item."

Indeed, the Shinhwa nude photo book is known to be highly sought after, with prices ranging from 200,000 to 300,000 won. The cast expressed their amazement, saying, "This is truly a precious piece of history."

Donghae and Eunhyuk admitted, "If it were us, we would never have done it. Just seeing the proposal, we would have said, 'Are you crazy?'" To which Lee Min-woo responded, "I hope such attempts don't happen again in the future."

Meanwhile, Lee Min-woo married Aimi, a third-generation Korean-Japanese, who is 11 years his junior, in March. She is known to be a single mom with a 6-year-old daughter, and they welcomed a daughter together last December.
