Big Bang's Diverse Live Performances at Coachella 2026: A Showcase of Vocal Range
On April 13th, at 2:30 PM local time, Big Bang took the stage for a one-hour solo live performance at the 'Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival' in Indio, California. They performed at the Outdoor Theatre Stage.
G-Dragon faced some challenges with high notes in songs like 'Sober,' where his voice cracked or he sang an octave lower. His intense rap delivery sometimes strained his vocal cords. However, G-Dragon displayed stable skills in low-pitched raps and softer songs, delivering a performance as if he had swallowed a CD.
Daesung showed a generally steady live performance, aside from a few moments where his excitement caused his pitch to waver. Taeyang impressed with his 'auto-tune-like' vocals, flawlessly hitting every note. He wowed the audience with elaborate ad-libs during the final choruses of each song.
In addition to Big Bang, groups like Cats Eye and SHINee's Taemin represented K-pop at the 2026 Coachella stage.
