Former Soccer Star Ahn Jung-hwan Ventures into Pizza Business with Honest Feedback from Netflix Chef

Former soccer player turned TV personality Ahn Jung-hwan has announced his foray into the pizza business, receiving candid feedback on his new menu from a chef featured on Netflix's 'Black and White Chef'.

On the 7th, Ahn Jung-hwan's YouTube channel 'Ahn Jung-hwan 19' released a video titled 'Ahn Jung-hwan's Pizza? Taste Evaluation by Dance Fairy Chef Jung Ho-young with a Trustworthy Culinary Pocket'. In the video, Ahn, along with a company representative, worked on refining the new 'Ahn Jung-hwan Pizza' before its official launch.

Ahn invited Kim Nam-il and Chef Jung Ho-young to taste the pizza and provide honest feedback. Kim emphasized to Jung, "You have to evaluate it really objectively," but Jung responded positively, saying, "It's delicious."

Ahn reiterated, "Feel free to say it's not good if it isn't," to which Jung commented, "It starts mild and then has a strong flavor, which is nice," but noted, "The corn tends to spill a lot." Kim also remarked, "It seems like there's a bit too much corn."

Both Jung and Kim praised the pizza overall, saying, "The addition of sweet potato at the end is nice. The sauce adds a bit more flavor," but advised, "The corn part is definitely inconvenient to eat and needs improvement. Square cutting is better than triangular. With triangular cuts, you wonder 'how do I eat all this?' but with square cuts, there's no size burden, so you keep reaching for more."

Previously, Ahn announced his pizza business venture on his YouTube channel last month. This led to a wave of negative public opinion and accusations of 'business obsession'.

In response to the controversy, the production team of 'Ahn Jung-hwan 19' clarified, "Contrary to many concerns, 'Record Pizza' is a venture to jointly operate a direct store with 'Ahn Jung-hwan 19' to donate part of the profits to good causes."
