Singer and actress IU recently shared her thoughts on entering her mid-30s, prompting unexpected advice from Yoo Jae-suk.

Appearing on the 'Pinggye-go' channel of 'DdeunDdeun' on the 4th, IU revealed, “I feel like my temperament is changing these days,” drawing attention to the changes she's experienced over the past year.

Marking her 18th year since debut, IU confessed, “Having debuted at such a young age, I used to let things slide.” However, now in her mid-30s, she finds it hard to hold back when she has something to say, sharing her current state of expressing her opinions more clearly.

Reflecting on this change, she added, “I'm no longer considered young by any standard, and with my years of experience, I find myself voicing my opinions more. It feels like a process of becoming healthier.”

Yoo Jae-suk, the 'Nation's MC,' resonated deeply with IU's concerns, sharing his own experiences. He recalled, “I used to think patience was a virtue and didn't want to stand out like a protruding nail.”

Yoo Jae-suk then offered IU a unique perspective, saying, “I now speak my mind. However, I only share what's necessary for the group, not personal matters,” providing a twist in his advice.

IU, impressed by Yoo Jae-suk's approach, nodded in agreement, saying, “That's a wonderful standard. I should align myself in that direction.”
