K-Pop Star Jeong Dong-won Transforms into a 'Real Man' After Joining the Marines

K-pop singer Jeong Dong-won has embraced his new life as a Marine.

Recently, Jeong Dong-won took to Instagram to share, "Victory! This is Private Jeong Dong-won. I have completed my training healthily! Thank you for your worries and support! I will continue to do my best. I miss you all! Please wait a little longer. I'm always sorry, thankful, and love you."

He added, "Thank you to all the platoon leaders of the 2nd Recruit Training Battalion for the past six weeks! I will continue to work hard in the field! Let's stay safe and strong until the day we are discharged, 1327th class!" showcasing his newfound maturity.

In the photos, Jeong Dong-won is seen wearing his Marine uniform neatly, saluting with a red name tag on his chest and a green belt around his waist, emphasizing the uniform's neat silhouette.

In another photo, he maintains a salute with his hat pulled down low, looking directly at the camera with a calm expression. His composed demeanor and tidy uniform create a stable atmosphere.

Previously, Jeong Dong-won's recent activities were broadcasted live during the Marine Corps 1327th class graduation ceremony on the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of National Defense's KFN.

During the ceremony, Jeong Dong-won showcased his newfound masculinity and confidence. He enlisted in the Marine Corps training camp on February 23 to fulfill his military duty.

His agency stated that Jeong Dong-won's decision to join the Marines was a long-held dream, reflecting his admiration for the Marine Corps and his commitment to keeping a promise to himself.
