Former SBS Announcer Kim Soo-min Shocked by High Medical Bills in the U.S.

Kim Soo-min, a former SBS announcer currently residing in the United States, expressed her shock over the high medical expenses.

On the 3rd, Kim shared a post on her Instagram story with the caption, "Hospital bills are brutal. My son got four stitches," along with a photo.

The photo revealed the bill Kim received after her son underwent treatment for a wound that required four stitches. The total medical bill amounted to $933, which is approximately 1.4 million Korean won, leaving her stunned.

Kim Soo-min, now 28, made headlines as the youngest announcer when she joined SBS as part of the 24th open recruitment in 2018. She unexpectedly resigned three years later and married a prosecutor five years her senior in 2022.

In April of last year, Kim was accepted into UCLA Law School in the U.S. and is currently balancing her studies and parenting with the support of her husband.
