Jun Ji-hyun in Talks to Promote 'The Hive' with Yoo Jae-suk and Na Young-seok

Actress Jun Ji-hyun (44) is reportedly in discussions to appear with Yoo Jae-suk and PD Na Young-seok to promote her upcoming film 'The Hive.'

On the 3rd, a representative from the film's promotional company, And Credit, told TenAsia, "There is nothing confirmed regarding Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Ji Chang-wook's appearances on the YouTube channels 'Pinggye-go' and 'Channel Fifteenya - Waggle Waggle.' Discussions are ongoing, but nothing has been finalized."

Earlier, a media outlet reported that Jun Ji-hyun, along with Koo Kyo-hwan and Ji Chang-wook, would appear on Na Young-seok's YouTube channel 'Channel Fifteenya' for the talk content 'Na Young-seok's Waggle Waggle' and Yoo Jae-suk's YouTube channel 'Ddeun Ddeun' for the talk content 'Pinggye-go.'

Jun Ji-hyun's film 'The Hive' is set to release in May. The movie is a mystery sci-fi film set in a world where mysterious parasitic organisms control and manipulate human consciousness. It follows the story of humans infected by these parasites forming a collective intelligence that threatens humanity, uncovering a massive conspiracy behind it. Jun Ji-hyun plays the role of 'Winter,' a chief researcher at a virus research lab, marking her return to the big screen after 11 years since 'Assassination' (2015).

Last year, Jun Ji-hyun made headlines with her appearance on the web variety show 'Study King Genius Hong Jin-kyung.' Having maintained a mysterious aura by avoiding TV variety shows for nearly 20 years, her consideration of appearing on major YouTube channels is drawing attention as she seeks to broaden her connection with the public.
