Rapper DinDin has announced his decision to quit hip-hop.

On the 30th, DinDin appeared on the YouTube channel 'Donghaemul and Baekdu Eunhyuk'.

Upon his appearance, DinDin was humorously questioned, "Why are you here?" Eunhyuk and Donghae teased him, asking, "Why do you keep pretending to be an idol?" and "Why does the guest sit down first so rudely?" DinDin responded with humor, saying, "I don't really feel like doing this today," which elicited laughter.

DinDin commented on a statement by Lee Joon, who said, "Don't café part-timers earn around 10 million won a month?" DinDin remarked that celebrities are out of touch with reality, which led to him being labeled a 'sensible celebrity' in the news.

Eunhyuk jokingly accused him, "Are you becoming a sensible celebrity while sending your colleagues to ruin?" DinDin clarified, "It was conveyed differently than intended. Some parts were edited provocatively. I just meant to say we should be aware of how the world works."

However, Eunhyuk retorted, "It wasn't the editing; you said it that way," but added, "If DinDin were truly inconsiderate, I wouldn't have been friends with him for so long."

Debuting as a rapper from 'Show Me the Money', DinDin candidly shared, "For me, releasing an album always results in a loss," explaining the challenges of music production costs and album creation. Unlike idols with a fixed fan base and predictable sales, albums are a significant burden for him.

DinDin admitted, "I used to have an 'artist syndrome' where I felt I had to write all my songs." However, trying to handle lyrics and melodies alone often led to creative blocks, so he now accepts external songs.

Declaring his 'hip-hop resignation', DinDin stated, "Today's hip-hop trends don't suit me. I can't write lyrics like 'I wear a 300 million won watch.' It's not cool. I used to write such boastful lyrics, but they don't fit me anymore. I can't do hip-hop now. I just want to make music that feels good to listen to."

DinDin was also candid about his dating style. He said, "I don't believe in platonic friendships between men and women," adding, "When I'm interested in someone, I go for it. My success rate is quite high, but I tend to stay in the 'some' stage for about three months. I consider whether I could marry this person from the start. This sometimes leads to misunderstandings or questions about our relationship status."
