Yoon Hye-jin Clarifies Daughter's 'Part-Time Job' Video Amid Legal Concerns
On the 24th, Yoon Hye-jin took to her Instagram story to explain, "It wasn't a real part-time job. We're close with the owner of the market near her school, and she wanted to try it out while waiting."
Previously, Yoon had shared a video on her social media, captioning it, "While waiting, she's working at E-Mart, thinking it's another short school day."
The video shows Yoon's daughter in her school uniform, seemingly working at a convenience store. Behind her, shelves of cigarettes are visible, and she is seen scanning barcodes of various items like cup noodles and triangular kimbap, drawing attention.
Yoon's daughter, born in 2013, is around 12 to 13 years old. Legally, part-time work is allowed from age 15, making her ineligible. Yoon clarified, "She wasn't paid for the work," and likened it to "the kind of thing we did at the local store when our moms weren't around." She added, "There's no romance in this, really."
Yoon Hye-jin married Uhm Tae-woong in 2013, and they have one daughter, who recently started attending Sunhwa Arts Middle School. Yoon has a background as a principal dancer with the Korea National Ballet and the Monte Carlo Ballet in Monaco.
