Kim Sejeong Joins BH Entertainment After Leaving Jellyfish Entertainment
On the 24th, BH Entertainment officially announced, "We have signed an exclusive contract with Kim Sejeong." They praised her as "a singer and actress with outstanding musicality and a wide acting spectrum."
Kim Sejeong debuted in 2016 as a member of the project girl group I.O.I, and later built her musical career with Gugudan and solo albums. Last December, she released the single 'Tayangye', further establishing her position as a solo artist.
As an actress, Kim Sejeong has made her mark since her 2017 debut in the drama 'School 2017'. She has starred in numerous projects, notably 'The Uncanny Counter' and 'Business Proposal', earning her the title of 'Queen of Ratings'. Last year, she received critical acclaim for her role in the historical drama 'The Moon Flows Over the River' and won the '2025 MBC Drama Awards' Best Actress Award.
Kim Sejeong has also expanded her artistic reach by performing in musicals like 'Red Book' and plays such as 'Temple'. Earlier this year, she successfully held a 10th-anniversary fan concert in Seoul, completing a global tour that included major Asian cities. She has also hinted at a 10th-anniversary reunion project for I.O.I this year.
A representative from BH Entertainment stated, "Kim Sejeong is an artist and actress who showcases diverse charms with her bright and healthy energy, crossing between music and acting.
