Celebrity Chef Yoon Yong-wook Teams Up with Burger King for New Premium Burger Launch
On the 23rd, Duoover Entertainment (hereafter referred to as Duoover) announced, “The new product, a collaboration between Chef Yoon Yong-wook and Burger King, will be released this April.”
This collaboration is expected to showcase a unique synergy by combining Chef Yoon's deep smoking expertise with Burger King's signature 'Flame-Grilled' patties. Notably, Chef Yoon has been directly involved in the entire development process to incorporate the rich flavors of his signature 'Beef Rib' from 'Imok Smoke Dining' into the product, enhancing its quality.
In addition, to commemorate the collaboration with Burger King, Chef Yoon will host a 'Whopper Truck' guerrilla tasting event on April 1 in Seongsu, Seoul, where he will introduce the new burger and engage directly with consumers.
Previously, Chef Yoon gained significant attention from viewers for his unique grilling skills as the 'Barbecue Research Director' on Netflix's 'Chef's Table: BBQ'. Furthermore, his restaurant 'Imok Smoke Dining' has recently been listed in the 'Michelin Guide Seoul 2026', solidifying its presence among food enthusiasts.
Proving his popularity, Chef Yoon has been involved in various collaborations with different brands and has appeared on numerous TV shows and content, including MBC's 'I Live Alone' and 'The Manager'. Recently, he contributed to cultural harmony between Korea and Brazil by presenting a main dish at a state dinner at the Blue House.
Meanwhile, Chef Yoon signed an exclusive contract with Duoover, founded by singer-producer GRAY, CODE KUNST, and Woo Won-jae, in February last year and continues to be active in various fields.
