Koyote Joins Forces with Korean Coast Guard for Public Safety Campaign
Koyote, the longest-running co-ed group in South Korea, consisting of members Kim Jong-min, Shinji, and Bbaek Ga, announced their participation in singing the winning song 'Your Time' from the Korean Coast Guard's song contest. This announcement was made on the official channel of the Korean Coast Guard on the 18th. Through their music, Koyote continues to deliver important messages about maritime safety in a friendly manner, furthering their meaningful public campaign efforts.

The song 'Your Time', which won the grand prize in the 5th Korean Coast Guard Song Contest last year, encapsulates the mission of protecting the sea and the moments of rescue. By lending their voices to 'Your Time', Koyote aims to convey safety messages that are easy to remember and sing along to, leveraging their popularity and communication skills. As a group with 28 years of history, Koyote's familiarity and trustworthiness are expected to naturally integrate basic maritime safety rules, such as wearing life jackets, into everyday life.

This is not Koyote's first foray into public campaigns. In 2024, they released the campaign song 'Vote Together' to encourage participation in the 4·10 general election (the 22nd National Assembly election), highlighting the importance of civic engagement and exercising one's rights. By using their signature bright energy, Koyote successfully delivered the message in a light-hearted manner, encouraging public empathy and participation. What are some of the positive influences Koyote has maintained over 28 years?Through music, Koyote continues to convey social messages in an easy and friendly way, collaborating on various public campaigns. Beyond campaign songs, they have consistently practiced positive influence, being appointed as ambassadors for organizations such as the Peace Medical Foundation in 2005, the Volunteer Center in 2018, and the Korea Youth Federation in 2023.

Since their debut, Koyote has led meaningful social changes beyond the music industry, spreading positive messages through various music, concerts, and broadcasts, continuing the legacy of a 'living legend'.
