Lee Min-jung Opens Up About Insomnia and Shares Sleep Tips
On October 17, Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel 'Lee Min-jung MJ' released a video titled 'Lee Min-jung's Sleep Quality Boosting Items Revealed. Watch This and Sleep Well Tonight - MJ's Honest Review'.
In the video, Lee Min-jung admitted to having insomnia, stating, "I believe the most important thing in life is not eating but sleeping. Without sleep, you lose your appetite, find it hard to be active, and lack concentration."
Lee Min-jung introduced several products, humorously noting, "I bought something I saw on Instagram, and even my husband, who wasn't fazed by vinegar, found it sour." She also mentioned, "While it helped me fall asleep, I sometimes woke up with a headache if I had to get up early the next day." She emphasized the importance of sunlight, advising younger viewers to "just go out and play," eliciting laughter.
Lee Min-jung shared her experience with white noise and brainwave music, saying, "My husband and I thought, 'Can this really help us sleep?' but five minutes after playing it, I remember nothing." However, she added, "It doesn't work every single time," sharing her experience without exaggeration.
Lee Min-jung, who enjoys red wine, commented, "Drinking too much can obviously disrupt sleep, but the tannins in wine seem to calm people down a bit. After a broadcast or filming, if I'm too tense, I have a glass or two to help me sleep."
Confessing her habit of sleeping with a body pillow, Lee Min-jung said, "I still sleep on my side. I need to be holding something or have a protective barrier next to me to sleep well. People like my husband, who don't use it, often ask, 'How can you sleep holding something so big?'"
Lee Min-jung married actor Lee Byung-hun in 2013, and they have a son and a daughter.
