Korean Actor Park Dong-bin Laid to Rest at 56
A funeral service will be held at 8:30 AM at the Anseong Provincial Funeral Home in Gyeonggi Province. His final resting place will be at Woseong Memorial Park, following a stop at Yongin Peaceful Forest. Among those who sent floral tributes to honor Park Dong-bin were actor couple Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun, as well as psychiatrist Dr. Oh Eun-young.
Park Dong-bin was found deceased on the 29th of last month at a restaurant within a commercial building in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. He was 56 years old. The location was reportedly where he had been preparing to open a new business. Police investigations revealed no signs of foul play or a suicide note.
Park Dong-bin made his debut in the 1996 film 'The Gingko Bed' and gained recognition through his roles in the drama 'The Age of Wild Men' and the film 'Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War'. He became particularly well-known for a scene in the 2012 drama 'I Think I Loved You', where he spat out orange juice, earning him the nickname 'Juice Uncle'.
In 2020, he married fellow actor Lee Sang-yi, and in 2023, they welcomed a daughter. Recently, he expressed his paternal love for his daughter, who was born with a congenital heart defect, through a television appearance.
