K-Pop Star Lee Jae Shines at Oscars After-Party with Fiancé, Celebrates 'Golden' Win
On March 15th, Lee Jae was spotted at the unofficial Academy Awards after-party held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, accompanied by producer Sam Kim. She proudly displayed a ring on her fourth finger, left hand, hinting at their upcoming wedding in November.
Earlier that day, Lee Jae won the Best Original Song award at the 98th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
'Golden' triumphed over strong contenders such as 'Dear Me' from 'Diane Never Dies', 'I Ride to You' from 'Sinners', 'Train Dreams' from 'Dream of the Train', and 'Sweet Dreams of Joy' from 'Viva Verdi'.
Taking the stage, Lee Jae expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you to the Academy for this incredible honor." She added, "Growing up, people teased me for liking K-Pop. Now, we're all singing songs with Korean lyrics. I'm proud."
The animated series 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' also won the Best Animated Feature, making it a double win for the night. Lee Jae celebrated by performing 'Golden' alongside Audrey Nuna and Ray Ami.
