Sandara Park Opens Up About Friendship Amidst 2NE1 Controversy
On the 12th, the YouTube channel 'Big Hand No Hee-young' released a video titled 'How to Enjoy British Food Without Fail (2NE1 Sandara Park, Top 10 London Restaurants)'. In the video, Sandara Park reminisced about her past connection with former fashion designer No Hee-young, creating a warm atmosphere.
No Hee-young expressed her affection for Sandara Park, saying, "We are close. We share a love for fashion, food, and travel. We've been to Japan, Thailand, the US, and Jeju Island together." She added, "She even wore a hanbok to my 60th birthday party. She's almost like a daughter to me," bringing laughter.
Discussing their relationship, No Hee-young said, "When I was working at CJ, we did '2NE1 TV' on Mnet. Watching Sandara Park debut felt like I was debuting her myself. She felt like a daughter from then on." She continued, "I was really upset when the girl group disbanded, but sharing those feelings brought us closer."
A particularly noteworthy moment was when Sandara Park shared her thoughts on personal relationships. She revealed, "It takes me 10 years to become close with someone," and expressed gratitude, saying, "(No Hee-young) takes care of me like a real mom. I often visit her even without the other members. She has become a truly supportive presence like a mother."
Previously, 2NE1 member Park Bom posted on her social media on the 3rd, hinting at Sandara Park's involvement with drugs and criticizing YG Entertainment, fellow member CL, and producer Teddy in a handwritten letter.
Following this, Sandara Park stated on her personal social media on the 4th, "I have never done drugs. I hope she gets better," and it was revealed that she unfollowed Park Bom. CL, who was also targeted, unfollowed Park Bom as well, leading to rumors of discord within 2NE1. The group has yet to make an official statement regarding these rumors.
