Park Ji-hoon, known for his leading role in the film 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' has confirmed his next project, drawing a heartfelt response from the original author.

On October 2nd, J. Robin, the author of the original work for TVING's 'The Legendary Cook,' expressed their excitement by saying, "I've used up all my luck in life. ㅠㅠ" They added, "It's like the novel's cover has come to life. I'm really looking forward to the acting."

'The Legendary Cook' is based on a popular web novel and webtoon of the same name. The drama is a 'military mess hall comedy' that follows a cook who, instead of wielding a gun, uses a kitchen knife and wears an apron instead of a bandolier. The story depicts his journey to becoming a legend by following a mysterious 'quest screen.'

In the series, Park Ji-hoon plays the role of Kang Sung-jae, a young man who has lived diligently despite a challenging family background. After enlisting in the military, he unexpectedly gains new abilities and becomes a cook. He challenges himself to level up by following the quest screen that appears before him, guided by a mysterious voice.

Meanwhile, according to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on October 3rd, 'The Man Who Lives with the King' has recorded a cumulative audience of 9,213,408 as of October 2nd. With the film on the verge of surpassing 10 million viewers, Park Ji-hoon is set to earn the title of '10 million actor.'
