Musical Star Ock Joo-hyun Bids Tearful Farewell to 'Bonnie and Clyde' Audience
On October 1st, Ock Joo-hyun shared a video on her Instagram story with the brief caption, "Thank you and goodbye."
The video captured Ock Joo-hyun meeting with the audience after her last performance of the musical 'Bonnie and Clyde.' She was seen bowing deeply and wiping away tears, expressing her heartfelt emotions as she parted with the production, resonating with the audience.
Previously, Ock Joo-hyun was embroiled in a 'casting monopoly controversy' in January. This arose from her having an overwhelmingly high number of performances in the musical 'Anna Karenina.'
In response, the production company of 'Anna Karenina' stated the next day, "Casting and performance schedules are the exclusive rights of the production company and the original creators," explaining that "due to various factors such as negotiations with the licensor, reduced total performance numbers, and actors' schedules, the schedule was finalized with difficulty."
Meanwhile, Ock Joo-hyun has been performing in 'Anna Karenina' since September 20th, continuing to engage with audiences.
