Seo In-guk Shines on the Cover of 'Singles' Japan March Issue: Talks Upcoming Netflix Series and More
In the released photoshoot, Seo In-guk flawlessly pulls off a variety of outfits, showcasing his sophisticated and dandy charm, as well as the quintessential 'boyfriend look'.
In the accompanying interview, Seo discusses his upcoming Netflix series 'Monthly Boyfriend', expressing his initial attraction to the series' universe. He highlights the multi-layered emotional narrative set against a virtual dating simulation as a key viewing point, hinting that following the characters' emotions will lead to deep immersion in the story.
Seo describes his character 'Kyung-nam' as someone who appears cold but is perfect at his job, yet possesses a clumsy charm. He humorously notes, "I'm not as serious as Kyung-nam," and describes himself as "playful and honest with emotions," pointing out the differences between him and his character.
Regarding his co-star Ji-soo, with whom he shares the most screen time in this romance genre, Seo praises her as "the mood maker on set and an actress who perfectly fits her character," adding that as filming progressed, the line between actor and character blurred.
Balancing his singing and acting careers, Seo shares that he has learned to understand emotions structurally, noting that both fields positively influence each other, revealing his deep passion for both acting and music.
Referring to 2026 as a year of blossoming, Seo hopes that the efforts he has been preparing will yield satisfying results, emphasizing the importance of collaborative success. He also shares news of his upcoming projects, including 'Monthly Boyfriend', the currently filming 'Going to Work Tomorrow!', and a new album.
With a strong domestic and international fanbase, Seo In-guk is set to embark on the 2026 fan meeting tour 'TWO SIDES' PHASE 1, starting in Mexico on March 24, followed by events in Chile, Brazil, and more.
