'The King and the Man' Surpasses 5 Million Viewers in Just 18 Days
The film 'The King and the Man' has surpassed 5 million viewers just 18 days after its release.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 22nd, 'The King and the Man' recorded a cumulative audience of 5.26 million as of the previous day. It is the first film released this year to exceed 5 million viewers.

Directed by Jang Hang-jun, known as the 'husband of star writer Kim Eun-hee,' 'The King and the Man' depicts the final days of the dethroned King Danjong, who spends his last moments with the village chief and villagers in exile in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province. Yoo Hae-jin plays the role of the village chief, while Park Ji-hoon stars as King Danjong.
