K.Will Reveals 14kg Weight Loss Journey: From Weight Loss Drugs to Exercise and Diet
Korean singer K.Will has opened up about his impressive 14kg weight loss over two months, detailing his journey which included the use of obesity medications.

On October 18, a video was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Hyungsoo is K.Will', where K.Will discussed his weight management following the holiday season. In the video, he shared, "I've lost 14kg from my heaviest weight. Currently, I've gained back about 3kg, so I'm at an 11kg loss."

K.Will revealed that he had been prescribed the obesity medication Wegovy last year but did not achieve significant results. He admitted, "I wasn't very determined to lose weight while on Wegovy. It just made alcohol taste bad, and after stopping, I experienced a rebound." His weight, which was around 86-87kg, increased to 91kg after discontinuing the medication.

He then turned to another medication, Mounjaro, and began a more committed weight loss phase. "This time, my determination was different," he recalled. "I didn't eat anything on the first day and lost 3kg in one day." However, he emphasized, "Supplements are just that—supplements. You can't succeed by relying solely on them."

K.Will's approach included 'one meal a day' combined with aerobic and strength exercises. He regularly consumed one meal a day and engaged in 30 minutes of stair climbing, known as 'Stairway to Heaven', along with interval running, alternating between 1-minute sprints and 1-minute walks. He stressed, "Exercise alone won't make you lose weight. Diet must be combined," and added, "Increasing muscle mass prevents rebound weight gain."

During his weight loss journey, he underwent a body type analysis. One institution advised him to limit meat consumption, diagnosing him as 'Geum-eum' type, while another suggested a meat-centric diet, labeling him 'Mok-yang' type. K.Will humorously concluded, "Since they were so contradictory, I decided to eat moderately and exercise."

In conclusion, he stated, "Ultimately, dieting is about confidence and determination. I succeeded this time because my mindset was different. Now, I plan to maintain my weight."
