Actress Kim Hye-eun Secures Promise for Veneers from Dentist Husband

Actress Kim Hye-eun has secured a promise from her dentist husband for veneers.

Recently, the YouTube channel 'Dentistry PhD Kim In-soo' featured a video titled 'Actress Kim Hye-eun, Chemistry Explodes at Husband's Dental Clinic! What's the State of the Actress's Teeth?'.

In the video, dentist Kim In-soo revealed, "My wife has been asking for whitening and veneers, so today we checked her dental condition and started with whitening."

52-year-old Kim Hye-eun shared her concerns, "As I age, tooth discoloration becomes noticeable. Especially with my lower teeth becoming crooked, I feel it makes me look older." She added, "We don't talk much about teeth at home. My husband doesn't really check my teeth at home, so I wanted a proper consultation at the clinic."

Visiting her husband's clinic for the first time in years, Kim's husband humorously remarked, "It's awkward to speak formally," as he checked her teeth. During the examination, he exclaimed "Oh no," noting, "There's some tartar on the crooked lower teeth."

Kim expressed her disappointment, "You check other people's teeth but not your wife's?" She continued, "I'm happy with my upper teeth, but I dislike how my lower teeth are becoming more crooked. The discoloration and overlapping bother me. Please fix it."

For a decade, Kim has been advocating for veneers. Her husband responded, "You're perfect as you are. But I realize I've done whitening for other actresses and not for you. I thought you looked perfect and didn't need it." Kim retorted, "Don't brush it off with words. As a dentist's wife, I can't go to another clinic."

Eventually, her husband joked, "Will our relationship improve if I do the veneers?" and finally promised, "I'll do it," after ten years. He added, "As an actress, she's sensitive about aesthetics. She'll look beautiful after the whitening."

Meanwhile, Kim Hye-eun married dentist Kim In-soo in 2001, and they have a daughter. Originally a weathercaster, Kim transitioned to acting after marriage.
