YG Entertainment Launches '2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT' to Discover Next K-Pop Stars

YG Entertainment is intensifying its efforts to discover talents that will shape the future of the global K-pop market under the leadership of Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk.

On the 5th, YG Entertainment announced the '2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT' on its official blog. Following the release of the official poster, the excitement for participation was further fueled by a video showcasing the debut journey of TREASURE and BABYMONSTER.

The video captures the transformation of members as they are selected as YG trainees, undergo systematic training, and numerous evaluations to become complete artists. The video concludes with them captivating audiences on concert stages with fans' enthusiastic cheers.

YG Entertainment has been instrumental in launching numerous K-pop artists who perform globally. Recently, they have strengthened their training system, significantly reducing the time to debut, and are accelerating the launch of next-generation groups.

A YG representative stated, "As indicated by the title 'SPECIAL AUDITION,' this audition has significant differences. Unlike before, Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk will personally oversee the initial screening process, demonstrating his strong commitment to discovering the next big stars to follow in the footsteps of BIGBANG and BLACKPINK."

Applications for the '2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT' are open until February 28th via the YG audition website or the QR code on the poster. Anyone born between 2007 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality, can apply. Applicants should choose one area of strength—singing, rapping, dancing, visuals, or charisma—and showcase their potential in a video under one minute.
