Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon Shares Peaceful Jeju Moments Amidst Divorce Proceedings

Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon recently shared a glimpse of her serene life in Jeju through her Instagram, captioning it as "A peaceful afternoon in a Jeju village."

In the photos, Park Ji-yoon is seen smiling against the backdrop of Jeju's stone walls and low building exteriors. She sports a casual look with a black top, dark jeans, and a red-toned checkered outerwear.

In her hands, she carries shopping bags and boxes with the 'BEURRE' logo, set against an outdoor gravel yard, chairs, and trees swaying in the wind, enhancing the tranquil Jeju vibe. Other photos capture her posing with the shopping bags or taking a step forward with the boxes, reflecting her relaxed moments.

Fans responded with comments like "You're so beautiful," "Always supporting you," "Always pretty," "Fighting," "Truly a role model," and "Hope you're always happy."

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon, who married fellow KBS announcer Choi Dong-seok in 2009 and has a son and a daughter, is undergoing divorce proceedings after 14 years of marriage as of October 2023.

The Jeju District Court dismissed both Park Ji-yoon's lawsuit against Choi Dong-seok's acquaintance, identified as A, for damages related to an alleged affair, and Choi Dong-seok's similar lawsuit against Park Ji-yoon's acquaintance, identified as B.

The court concluded that it was difficult to acknowledge the alleged affairs or hold either party liable for damages based on the claims and evidence presented. Consequently, both civil lawsuits filed by the couple were not upheld.

The legal battle began in July 2024 when Park Ji-yoon filed a lawsuit against A for damages related to an alleged affair, followed by Choi Dong-seok's lawsuit against B in September of the same year. The court merged the cases, and both parties denied the affair allegations. Neither party has appealed the dismissal of the lawsuits, but disagreements over asset division and the cause of the marital breakdown remain.

Park Ji-yoon has secured custody and parental rights of their children, while Choi Dong-seok has visitation rights, allowing him to meet the children two days a week.
