Actress Lee Si-young Completes 16-Hour Hike After Welcoming Second Child
On October 2, Lee shared on her social media, "During the days heading to Uhuru Peak, everyone we met sang 'Hakuna Matata' to us. And on the night we set off for the summit at midnight, the Milky Way unfolded before our eyes."
She continued, "It's amazing that all seven colors of the rainbow are captured in the Milky Way photo, and it's truly the unedited beauty of Africa. Many of us almost gave up several times, but in the end, we all safely reached Uhuru Peak." She added, "On this day alone, we hiked for a staggering 16 hours. To everyone watching, Hakuna Matata."
The accompanying photos show Lee Si-young climbing the mountain with broadcaster Noh Hong-chul and singer Kwon Eun-bi. Despite being at the center of various personal controversies recently, she continues to pursue her personal activities and schedule undeterred.
Lee Si-young married a restaurateur in September 2017 and welcomed a son in January the following year. However, after eight years of marriage, she filed for divorce mediation at the Seoul Family Court earlier this year, announcing the end of her marriage.
Subsequently, it was revealed that she had implanted a frozen embryo without her ex-husband's consent, leading to her second pregnancy. Lee Si-young gave birth to a daughter in January and is now a mother of two.
