Former After School Member Lizzy Opens Up About Mental Struggles

Former After School member Lizzy has candidly shared her psychological struggles.

During a live broadcast on the 28th, Lizzy spoke about the challenges of being a celebrity, stating, "Being a celebrity is a job where everything is exposed," and added, "If someone wants to pursue a public career, I would advise against it. Especially for female idols, it seems particularly challenging."

She continued, "I don't regret choosing this career, but I do blame myself a lot for my actions," and revealed, "My depression has been so severe that I was talking about life and death, which led to my account being suspended, so I came here."

Through tears, Lizzy lamented, "People ask why anyone would want to die in such a good world, but it's so hard for me to live. What good is a wonderful world if I'm struggling?"

Meanwhile, Lizzy took time for self-reflection after being fined for a DUI incident in 2021.
